Gorgeous PMG Graded About Uncirculated 55 Marietta Territorial
Marietta, IT - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 490 The Marietta NB Ch. # (W)5958A mere three large and one small notes are known from this bank, the second of Marietta's three issuers. Just 700 sheets of Territorials were issued, with this the only survivor reported. Fortunately for collectors, it is a real beauty, with every attribute one could desire, from bold pen signatures to excellent margins all around and from vivid colors and inks to real bank rarity. Our consignor paid $39,100 back in 2004, and, while that might seem high, where can another of this quality be found at any price. PMG About Uncirculated 55, a spectacular Territorial rarity destined for the very finest of collections.
